100 Bucket List Goals to do before you die!

There is a difference between Life Goals and Bucket List Goals.  Life goals are longer term in nature and represent your balanced approach to planning your life.  Bucket list goals are typically more adventure based and intended to be things that are more excitement or thrill based.  But that doesn't need to be the case.

Some people interchange the two terms and that's okay.  At the 100 Goals Club, the emphasis is on Life Goals, but that doesn't diminish the importance if you are more excited about the idea of creating your own bucket list of goals.

Writing your own personalized list of Bucket List Goals will add excitement to your life just thinking about and planning out how you will accomplish them.

Deciding on 100 specific goals is a significant undertaking and should only be considered if you are serious about this, as it will ultimately define your life.

Examples of bucket list goals include:

  • Swimming with dolphins

  • Standing under a waterfall
  • Meeting a famous person
  • Bicycling across the Golden Gate Bridge
  • Seeing a Las Vegas show
  • Setting a Guinness Book world record
  • Flying in a private jet

The challenge with some bucket lists, however, is that the items that end up on many people’s bucket lists are items that are more adventure, travel, and thrill- based—they omit the more important things in your life, as represented in the 10 Goal Areas.  The traditional Bucket List is to be included within the sections for Adventure Goals and Travel Goals.   By all means, call these your bucket list goals.

Use this page as inspiration for writing out your own personalized list of Bucket List Goals.  Whether it's 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100 goals, the important point is to get started in writing them down. Review them often and add to them over the course of your life.

Watch "The Bucket List" movie and it is sure to inspire you to be more goal oriented with your life.   Living a life by design rather than by chance is a great way to minimize the regrets you will have in life, especially as you look back when you're in your final years of retirement and life. Too many people just let life happen and don't take the time to plan a life that they can be proud of.

Make planning your bucket list be something you talk about with your friends and family.   Don't be shy.  But be careful with only sharing and discussing this list with people who are positive people and will encourage you.  It's easy to be discouraged by negative people and that is the last thing you need.
