What are your lifetime goals to write down before you turn 30?
Do you have a list of written lifetime goals? If not, ask yourself why not. People with written down goals are much more likely to live a successful life.
I wrote out my 100 life goals on my 30th birthday, more than 25 years ago! Turns out this was one of the best things I've ever done.
The good news is that you can do the same, starting with your own list of goals, whether just 10, 20, 30 or all 100!

How do you compare against other goal achievers?
If you already have a mental list or written list, go through either your own personal list of Lifetime Goals or the 100 Life Goals on this site and count of the number of life goals that you've already achieved. This is a good starting point to see . . .
- Is there good balance across the 10 life areas? - Personal development, health and fitness, friends and family, financial, career, adventure, travel, lifestyle, giving back and legacy . . . There are other goal categories besides these. No problem if you decide on your own unique set of life goal categories or areas that are more relevant to you.
- Are there areas in your life that have been neglected? - The most important goal areas to avoid neglecting in my opinion relate to health and fitness and friends and family. Without your health and without your family and friends, you life will suffer greatly.
- Are there areas that I would like to focus on that I didn't think were important before? - Many don't take the time to plan their life and as a result neglect key areas in their life. Take the time now to focus on goals and goals areas that you deem important to you.
- Do these goals sponsor other ideas on important goals I'd like to write down? - One of the benefits of gaining insight into another persons goals is that it will foster ideas for your own life that you may not have had otherwise. That is one of the reasons that reading self-help books and autobiographies is so important. And of course, exploring this website for inspiration on goal topics and these recommendations for 100 lifetime goals.
Take the 100 Goal Challenge. Start with 10 goals, then expand to 20, 30, 40 . . . all the way to 100. Take your time. This is not meant to be done quickly. Set a milestone to write down your lifetime goals on or before your next Birthday. If you have a decade milestone birthday coming up, even better. There is nothing so inspiring as hitting a milestone birthday (ie. 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 or more) and being ready with your committed list of goals.
